Fun Play help: fund raising ideas

If your organization or school is looking for a new and exciting way to raise funds, try hosting an event with inflatable bouncy castles and interactive games. Fun Play has inflatable obstacle courses, inflatable sumo wrestling, inflatable bungee basketball and many other fun inflatable games. The delivery, setup and take down is taken care of by us, all you have to do is promote, provide event labor and manage the event. It’s well within your organization’s reach to net several hundred to thousand dollars over a night or a weekend with inflatable rentals and other ideas. Remember to start planning as soon as you can. This will help with a success fund raising event.

Assign areas of responsibility:
Delegate tasks to people. Some of the area you will need to address
1. Schedule of event location, time, logistics, volunteer help.
2. Have a person in charge of marketing and spreading the word. Utilize local community centers and schools. Target the kids. They love inflatables.
3. Event day operations. Who is going to run the days event. They will need to have someone to manage the receipts, tickets, wrist bands, labor.

Sure one person can do all of this, but it helps to have a few people.

Which Inflatables? Big kids, Little Kids or Adults 
there are many options here. The older the children 10+ to adults usually like the more challenging head to head competitions of JOUST, Bungee Run, Sumo Suits, Obstacle courses. The younger children usually go for the bouncer – the Themed ones like Superman, toy story, pink castle or Spongebob work well for younger kids

Remember the food & beverage for extra profits
Next to inflatable rentals, food is always a large source of revenue at any event. Choose foods that are easy and fast to make like hot dogs and hamburgers. Ask local restaurants and catering trucks to serve at the event for a fee. You can also rent equipment for volunteers to run like a popcorn machine or a Snow Kone machine.

A Silent Auction can be loud!
Contact local businesses for the silent auction such as a massages, hotel stays, Gift certificates at local kid party areas (KEVA) or a dinner at a restaurant. Lay out the gifts on long banquet tables along with a piece of paper for placing bids throughout the night. Make announcements as the clock winds down on the event time.
